Apart from my daily moisturizer, I would say sunscreen is a top priority in my everyday skincare routine. Not all SPF products are the same. Some of the challenges I’ve faced with sunscreens involve formulas that leave your skin looking oily and feeling sticky, but I recently discovered REN Skincare’s new Clean Screen with SPF 30. It fixes everything I hated about sunscreens.
Made with rice extract, it absorbs oil and reduces shine, so you get a nice matte finish unlike most sunscreens that leave your face looking greasy. It’s also built with non-nano Zinc Oxide to protect against UVA and UVB rays. This is really important because the sunscreen sits on top of your skin versus other toxic formulas that absorb into your bloodstream.
This vegan SPF 30 formula uses natural bio-actives and is silicone-free with no chemical UV filters, so it doesn’t contain harmful toxins. I love knowing my skin is safe when I’m playing in the sun.
Huge plus that it also smells great and there’s no sticky residue left behind. Why buy an ordinary SPF when you can invest in one that benefits your skin in so many other ways? I’m totally sold on this product and just wish they would release it in a bigger size.
